2020 Summer Camp Update

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current NYS Pause order, all existing Summer Camp sessions have been canceled. We are diligently working to develop new, safe, and creative ways to run programming in accordance with all NYS and Department of Health Guidelines.

Although the future still remains uncertain, we are hoping to begin programming at a limited capacity later this summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and healthy!

Should you have any questions please contact Gabriele Clark at gclark@CradleBeach.org or by calling 716-549-6307 ext 206.

Fees are assessed by a sliding fee scale, which are determined by family income, size and ability to pay. We do offer financial assistance.

Residential Summer Enrichment Program also known as Summer Camp
About Cradle Beach’s Summer Camp Program

Summer CampSummer Camp is a residential program that enriches the lives of nearly 800 children from across Western New York every year. We offer five 7-10 day sessions that provide life changing opportunities throughout the summer months to children ages 8-16.

At Cradle Beach, we provide a healthy environment and organized activities to promote socialization, independence, and decision making in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.

Programming

We offer a fully integrated program for children with and without disabilities, everyone plays, eats, and attends activities together.

Play Station Activities Include:

  • Sports
  • Swimming
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Computer Technology
  • Dance
  • Sensory Room
  • Living Classrooms (STEM)
  • And more educational activities

Our play stations allow children to explore educational and recreational areas of interest they likely could not access in their day to day lives. Due to the diversity of the children we serve, we find that our campers develop a better sense of how to interact with others and how to learn from others who are different than themselves.

Pioneer Campers

Who are Pioneer Campers?
Pioneer Campers (PC’s) are role models for the younger campers. The PC’s develop leadership skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a desire to serve others.

We expect Pioneer Campers (PC’s) to be positive role models for the younger campers.

Pioneer Campers (PC’s) stay overnight from 7 to 10 days and are housed in separate cabins. Pioneer Campers can select one of the five sessions throughout the summer.

PC’s have the ability to earn Community Service hours by attending our Summer Camp Program.

PCs may come any session.

Interested campers should contact Gabriele Clark at 716-549-6307 x206 or e-mail gclark@CradleBeach.org for more information.
